There are conflicting signals from the Presidency as to whether Petroleum Minister , Chief Timipre Sylva, is still a member of the Federal Excutive Council. Timipre Sylva was among the ten Ministers who last Friday attended a valedictory session at the Presidential Villa having indicated their interest to vie for the office of the President under the platform of the APC .But an aide to the Minister said he is yet to resign his position. His Media Assistant, Julius Bokoru, told Daily Trust that his boss has not resigned from his position. This action took place on the Benin - Agbor expressway on Saturday the 7th of May 2022 at about 5.00 pm. This officer and other members of that team from FOU Zone 'C' have since been withdrawn from patrol duties and are currently under administrative investigation at the NCS Zonal Headquarters Zone 'C' Port Harcourt.
