Mearsk Line Suspends Peak Season Charge.

Executive Secretary and CEO, Hassan Bello Mearsk Line Nigeria Ltd has bowed to pressure and reversed an earlier introduction of peak season charge.  The reversal followed an intervention by Hassan Bello,  Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers' Council. In a statement in Lagos, Mearsk Line said it has instructed its commercial department to suspend the controversial charge effective September 1, 2020.
