After days of intensive search, the Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Dr Faith Zibs Godwin, Friday along with her Special Duties counterpart, the Marine Police Force, and other relevant agencies, received the recovered bodies of eighteen victims from the ill-fated boat mishap that occurred in the Ezetu waterways, even as the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA has kept mum In the aftermath of the accident, Dr Zibs Godwin actively engaged with survivors to understand the full scope of the incident and to provide support. These discussions were crucial to help address immediate needs of the survivors and investigat the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
