There is Jubilation in the Niger Delta Region as the Maj. Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu (rtd), the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has approved payment to beneficiaries not less than seven hundred and seventy-five (775) whose Bank Verification Number (BVN) issues has been resolved. In a statement released on Monday by SA Media to the Interim Administrator, Freston Akpor, it was revealed that those who were cleared to receive payment are delegates whose accounts were recently put on hold. The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has declared its intention to work in partnership with the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) in the fight against piracy and other crimes in the country’s maritime domain.
