The Federal Government has constituted a crack border team to tackle the rising wave of armed banditry and insecurity in the country as part of efforts to secure Nigeria’s land and maritime border. The operatives of the Nigeria Police have re-arrested the notorious kidnap kingpin, Alhaji Hamisu Bala Wadume. He was re-arrested in the today in his hideout at Layin Mai Allo Hotoro area of Kano State. She would be contesting under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC. It could not be confirmed as at press time if she had resigned from her position as Vice Chancellor of the Nigerian Maritime University.
