He has led various campaigns to draw the attention of Nigerians and the global community ,to the massive pollution which oil exploration and exploitation by IOCs have visited on the region. And when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu created the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy at the Federal level, he didn’t hesitate to have Bayelsa align with the vision of Mr President by being the first and only State to create a Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy. He is ready to tell anyone who cares to listen that ” the prosperity of Bayelsa State lies in the belly of the Atlantic Ocean. And so justify his commitment to the shared vision of the State, he recently hosted a high powered technical Committee from Abuja to get the proposed Agge Deep Seaport project off the drawing Board .
