Gov Douye Diri receives a souvenir from Dr Jamoh Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, says the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is key in efforts to wean Nigeria from its dependence on crude oil, stressing that the most enduring wealth of the country is in maritime. After almost 13 years of an endless wait, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency says it has finally secured approval for the disbursement of the controversial Cabotage Vessel Financing Fund.
