MEET PHARM (DR.) FAITH IZIBENUA ZIBS-GODWIN, BAYELSA COMMISSIONER FOR MARINE AND BLUE ECONOMY
Dr. Faith Izibenua Zibs-Godwin Pharm. B, Pharm. D, MSc, mPSN, MAW is the immediate past Pioneer Chairman of the Bayelsa State Drug Abuse Prevention and Rehabilitation Committee (BADAPARC), hails from Yenagoa Community in Atissa clan, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
This committee was established in 2021 by His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State, to address the pressing issues of drug abuse within the state. Dr. Faith's tireless efforts focused on both prevention and rehabilitation, particularly for young people struggling with substance addiction.
In 2017 she was appointed as a Special Assistant to the Governor, later elevated to the position of a Senior Special Assistant on medicals, and subsequently appointed as Chairman of BADAPARC in 2021....
