Agge Deep Seaport Project on Course, Oyetola Assures .
Contrary to wide spread negative narratives, the Federal Government has restated its commitment to the actualisation of the Agge Deep Seaport in Bayelsa State, saying the project remains a critical component of its strategy to expand Nigeria's maritime infrastructure, stimulate economic growth and unlock investment opportunities in the Niger Delta.
Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, gave the assurance in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday 4th June, 2026, stressing that the Agge Deep Seaport remains a key priority of the Federal Government's efforts to unlock the vast potential of Nigeria's marine and blue economy sector.
