A proposal to establish a dedicated Maritime Desk within the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre (UN-POLAC) has emerged as a major highlight of the 2026 International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace celebration, with newly conferred International Peace Advocate, Prince Olayiwola Shittu, JP, signaling plans to deploy the platform to address critical issues in Nigeria’s maritime sector.
