Today, to further stimulate Nigeria’s economic growth, the Executive Secretary and CEO of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Akutah Pius Ukeyima Esq., MON, FCILT, FInsTA, Ph.D., convened a high-level meeting with industry stakeholders to address the pressing challenges of rising operational costs in the sector prompting the escalating costs that have led to increased shipping expenses, underscoring the call by the operators for a comprehensive review of their tariffs in line with current economic realities.
