Indications have emerged that Professor Maureen Etebu ,Vice Chancellor of the Nigerian Maritime University Okerenkoko in Delta State, may have indeed collected the nomination form for the governorship election in Bayelsa state scheduled for November 16. Her entry into the race brings to 7, the number of aspirants under the banner of the All Progressive Congress, APC. The Federal Government has constituted a crack border team to tackle the rising wave of armed banditry and insecurity in the country as part of efforts to secure Nigeria’s land and maritime border. BREAKING NEWS : Barring any last minute change in plan, the Vice Chancellor of the Nigeria's Premier Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, Prof Maureen Ongoebi Etebu, may today pick up the nomination form for the forthcoming governorship election in Bayelsa State. She would be contesting under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC. It could not be confirmed as at press time if she had resigned from her position as Vice Chancellor of the Nigerian Maritime University.
