Damilola Emmanuel, General Manager Lagos Waterways Authority, yesterday in Lagos received his nomination letter as one of the Awardees of the 2024 Maritime Industry MERIT AWARDS. World magazine Awardee, received his official notification. Elder Asu Beks who led members of the Local Organising the Committee of the MIMA 2024, said Mr Damilola was being honored for driving best practices and excellence at the Lagos Waterways Authority. Fiery rights activist and Convener of the elite Maritime Elders FORUM, Elder Asu Beks, has challenged Marine and Blue Economy Minister , Chief Adegboyega Oyetola, to compel the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, to immediately commence the disbursement of Cabotage Vessel Financing Fund.
