Damilola, Laswa, boss receives Maritime Industry Merit Award Nomination Letter

Damilola Emmanuel, General Manager Lagos Waterways Authority, yesterday in Lagos received his nomination letter as one of the Awardees of the 2024 Maritime Industry MERIT AWARDS. World magazine Awardee, received his official notification.

Elder Asu Beks who led members of the Local Organising the Committee of the MIMA 2024, said Mr Damilola was being honored for driving best practices and excellence at the Lagos Waterways Authority. Asu Beks praised Mr Damilola for his resilience and dedication to duty and for transforming LASWA into an enviable and exemplary brown water regulator and service provider.

Responding, Mr Damilola said he is pleasantly surprised by the recognition, dedicating the Award to the governor of lagos State, Babajide sanwo-0lu, and his staff at LASWA

” I will continue to do my best for our people in lagos and to all Nigerians. This is indeed very encouraging, and I thank the organisers for finding me worthy of this award. .

Other members of the organising committee on entourage of Elder Asu Beks are Mr Frank Meke , innocent Orok, and the President of Wabotan, Mr Tope fajemirokun. The Award comes up on the 15th of April, 2025, at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, lagos.
