Gov. Diri To Nengi: Bayelsa Proud Of You *Appoints BBN Housemates SSAs
Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, on Friday, told second runner-up of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown, Miss Nengi Rebecca Hampson, that the state was proud of her performance and conduct in the recently concluded reality show.
Governor Diri spoke in Government House, Yenagoa, when the Bayelsa-born former housemate visited as part of her homecoming activities.
Senator Diri announced the appointment of Nengi as Senior Special Assistant on Girl Child Development and her colleague, Bayelsa-born Tarimotimi Sinclair aka Trikytee also as SSA.
The governor expressed satisfaction with Nengi's conduct and brilliance as well as for identifying strongly with her state during the show, saying the government and people of Bayelsa state were proud of her.
