Mr Kingsley Kuku
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Famous Daunemigha says the National Security Adviser, Gen Babagana Mungono, should be held responsible for the massive looting at the Presidential Amnesty Program office. Chief Daunemigha who was a former Governorship candidate of the CPC in Bayelsa State was reacting to a newspaper report which allegedly indicted three past Coordinators of the Presidential Amnesty Program, PAP. Quoting the report of a Presidential panel which was instituted by the office of the National Security Adviser, the report had accused Mr Kingsley Kuku, Gen Paul Boroh and Prof Charles Dokubo of misappropriating over N700b over a period of eleven years. The APC Chieftain insisted that Gen Mungono should be held responsible for turning the PAP t...

The internal wrangling in the All Progressives Congress
(APC), which led to the inability of the party to field governorship
candidates in Rivers and Zamfara states in the last general elections,
may repeat itself in the November 16 governorship election in Bayelsa
State, if the party does not put its house in order.
Already, members of the party are locked in a battle of
intelligence with a former governor of the state and current Minister of
State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, over the choice of David Lyon as
its flag bearer in the forthcoming election.
Lyon had emerged the governorship candidate of the APC
having polled 42,138 votes to defeat five other aspirants in the primary
election of the party conducted on September 5, 2019 by the APC Bayelsa
State Governorship Pr...
Indications have emerged that Professor Maureen Etebu ,Vice Chancellor of the Nigerian Maritime University Okerenkoko in Delta State, may have indeed collected the nomination form for the governorship election in Bayelsa state scheduled for November 16. DELTA LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS: WE WON FAIR AND SQUARE ACROSS DELTA STATE - PDP
We have read with a huge sense of amusement, the spurious, unfounded and even in some reports, utterly nonsensical rantings of some identified chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC over the January 6, 2018 Delta State Local Government elections.
To us, these comments are nothing more than the typical whining and bellyaching always expected from sore losers, as a diversionary ploy and smokescreen to cover up their obviously pathetic lack of preparation for the Delta Council polls.
We are extremely disappointed but not particularly surprised with the comments of Olorogun O'tega Emerhor, Delta APC leader and former governorship candidate, made from the cozy comforts and surrounding of his cou...
Following news of his purported re-appointment as campaign manager for the re-election of President Buhari, a few days ago, the Minister of Transportation Mr Rotimi Amaechi seems to have some hurdles to overcome.
Reports from ALEDEH an online news source authoritatively reports that the APC governors met Thursday 4th of January in Abuja where the Campaign team had requested some contribution from the governors towards a successful campaign.
The news organisation gathered that Mr Amaechi had relayed to the governors a decision for each to contribute the sum of fifty million Naira a request that was rejected by 13 of the governors. Those who rejected were of the opinion that they would want to hear “directly from President Buhari” before they will contribute. Two of the governors q...

A lot of Nigerians have called me to request that I condemn Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s charge that the Ogoni clean-up is a political project, and I said no I would not condemn the governor for saying what he said. I will rather thank him. He is doing what the opposition should do in a democracy. The governor is a member of the opposition People’s Democratic Part (PDP). Like I said to the governor when we exchanged pleasantries after his remarks, “if it is a political project then you have fired the first shot”.
The ruling All Progressives Congress to which I, and President Muhammadu Buhari, the true facilitator and greatest advocate for the clean up of Ogoniland both belong should fire our own shot and it needs not be in throwing tantrums over the gove...
Atiku Abubakar has formally joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, more than a week after he dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The former vice-president made the announcement on Facebook within the last hour. He said the complaints he had with the PDP, under which he was vice-president from 1999-2007, had been resolved, laying the groundwork for his return.
It is believed that Mr. Abubakar is expected to contest the 2019 presidential election.
National Leader of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Tuesday called for true federalism in Nigeria. He also challenged the Federal Government to devolve power to the component units of the country to pave way for genuine development and growth. He made the call at the 91st Anniversary of Daily Times and Times heroes awards held at International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Tinubu, who was represented by the Governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, said Nigerians must begin to ask questions on why the country has remained underdeveloped despite passing through the oil boom and so many opportunities to become a great nation. The APC leader said Nigerians must break away from its negative past and focus on a brighter future if it hopes to achieve the nation...
