Nothing happens by chance,every incident occurs at a precise moment for which it was, so said the Chief Executive Officer of Bulls Plus, Mr C Derrick, in a goodwill message to Mohammed Bello Koko, who was appointment Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari as Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority. Mr Derrick said Bello Koko was not just as fit as fiddle for the top job given his pedigree as a tested manager in the financial sector, he said his track record in maritime industry as thrown him up as good manager of men and resources.
While thanking President Muhammadu Buhari and Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi on Bello Koko’s appointment, Mr Derrick says he and other Captains of industry are confident that the new NPA helmsman would not let the nation down. Said Mr Derrick: ” We know Bello Koko to be thorough bred, a tested manager of resources who takes his tasks seriously. We find him eminently qualified for his new assignment’, he said. Mohammed Bello Koko was a former Staff of Zenith Bank. He was appointed Executive Director Finance and Administration at the Nigerian Ports Authority in July 2016 .
He was appointed acting Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority in May, 2021 following the suspension of his erstwhile boss, Hadiza Bala Usman by President Muhammadu Buhari.
