The immediate past Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr Dakuku Peterside , will be the Guest Speaker at the Annual Town Meeting of the Ijaw Media Forum billed to hold in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital, in November. President of the Ijaw Media Forum, Elder Asu Beks who led members of the Forum on a Courtesy call on Gov Douye Diri on Monday said the theme of the one day Town Hall meeting is BAYELSA,BEYOND OIL.
Elder Asu Beks disclosed that with the dwindling receipts from oil, the time has come for oil producing states in the Niger Delta region to think out of the box and explore the bundles of opportunities in the region.
