Chief Akinwumi Ricketts,<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Reprieve has finally come the way of Chief Akinwumi Ricketts, Chairman of the Board of Nigerian Ports Authority who was unceremoniously removed from office under controversial circumstances last year. A statement yesterday announcing the composition of new Boards of Parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Transportation saw Chief Akinwumi emerge as Chairman of the new NPA Board .
\nThe statement signed by the Director of Press of the Ministry of Transportation said<\/p>\n

‘His Excellency, The President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR has approved the re-constitution of members of the Governing Boards of the following Parastatals under the purview of the Ministry:
\ni. Nigerian Shippers\u2019 Council (NSC)
\nii. Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT)
\niii. Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron (MAN, ORON)
\niv. National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA)
\nv. Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)<\/p>\n
