list received by the Senate from President Muhammadu BUHARI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The name of the  Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority,  Hadiza Bala Usman,  who was being tipped for a Ministerial Appointment, was conspicuously missing in the 43 names nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike during his first term when he appointed only 36 ministers \u2014 one per state \u2014 he has decided to also appoint one per geo-political zone, bringing the total to 43, TheCable understands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list was sent to the senate on Monday evening via executive communication and is expected to be read on the floor of the senate on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The senate, which will be proceeding on a two-month recess on Thursday, is expected to screen the nominees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrary to speculations, only about 12 ministers will be re-appointed from the former cabinet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the senate president has read the full list on
